Swim Meet Theme: Neon

Location: 41101 Willowsford Lane, Aldie, VA 20105

Parking: Parking is available in the parking lot by the pool and along Grassland Grove Drive. Note: Do not park in the first parking lot on Willowsford Lane or directly on Willowsford Lane. There will be signage.

Wednesday Times:

5:00 PM: Pool deck opens

5:10-5:30 PM: Warm-ups (Willowsford South Waves)

5:30-5:50 PM: Warm-ups (Willowsford North)

5:30 PM: Officials briefing - at the computer operations table at the far end of the pool deck

5:40 PM: Timer briefing - at the computer operations table at the far end of the pool deck

6:00 PM: Meet begins

Location: 42645 Regal Wood Drive, Ashburn, VA 20148 (Brambleton Community Center Pool)

Parking: Parking is available in the Community Center parking lot. There will be a line of cones across the parking lot towards the pool – please do not go past them. Event Parking is first-come, first-served in the remainder of the lot at the Community Center. Please note the handicapped spots and observe them appropriately. Any overflow parking is directed to the indicated “Street Parking” areas in green below. Please note only park on the sides of the streets noted in the below graphic in green. Do not park in red areas. We will have parking officials.

Times:

• 6:15am – Brambleton Set-up crew arrives
• 7:15am – Teams Arrive
• 7:20am – Brambleton Warmups
• 7:30am – Timers Briefing (on deck) - Corner near the DJ
• 7:35am – Officials Briefing (on deck) - Pool steps between DJ and computer table
• 7:40am – Willowsford South Warmups
• 7:55am – National Anthem (6Us should be lined up in chairs at this time)
• 8:00am – Start

Restrooms: Restrooms are located on the ground floor of the Community Center clubhouse – note “Restrooms” on the pool deck diagram below. Please enter the restrooms where indicated on the diagram at the starting end of the pool, i.e. the computer table end.

Concessions: The Betta Bistro concessions tent will be open as early as possible near the pool entrance near the parking lot (see diagram). Food will be available for purchase. CASH ONLY!

Team and Spectator Seating: Visiting team guests will set up just down the path, past the end of the parking lot - see “Away Team Area (Tents)” on the diagram below.

We understand that parents want to watch their swimmers compete, so we ask that you come onto the pool deck just before their respective events, and then please exit the pool deck at the completion of their swims. Prior to departing at the end of the meet, we ask that you please collect any trash that may have accumulated during the course of the meet. Please follow any instructions of Betta volunteers if requested.

MEET THEME - WAVES GEAR

Location : Saturday Home Time Trials (no opposing team) at Willowsford (Lodge Pool in The Greens)

Age Group: ALL age groups on the "Big Waves" team

Date and Time : Saturday, June 7th

7:00 AM - Arrive & start warmups.

8:00 AM - Meet starts with first event.

~12:00 PM - Meet finishes.

Swimmer Registration : Must be complete before end of day (11:59PM) on Wednesday, June 4th

Parking: Please park in the pool parking lot. If the pool parking lot gets full please park along the street on Grassland Grove. Do not block the street leading to the Lodge or entrance to the pool.

Volunteers: Check in with Volunteer Director at the table as you enter the pool deck.

Officials: Please report to a briefing at 7:10 AM located at the computer table at the front of the pool. (This includes Head Timer, Timers, Stroke and Turn, etc)

Seating: We do ask that the all spectators and swimmers keep the pool deck clear near the clerk of course area as traffic tends to bottleneck. To maintain clear sight lines and facilitate efficient meet operations, parents not working the meet as a deck official, volunteer lane timer or other meet positions are not permitted along the far side of the pool. Further, competitors may not loiter along the edges of the pool between the timers and the starter equipment. We encourage families to bring their own deck chairs to supplement those available on the pool deck.

Schedule: Warm Up: 30-45 mins prior to meet start time for 20-25 minutes We will make every effort to start the meet on time!

Weather Delay: Our pool management company has a 45 minute wait-out period after a thunder/lightning strike. We are required to clear the pool deck during this time. Together, Team Reps and Head Coaches will address weather delays accordingly.

Rules: A swimmer may enter ALL individual events. This only applies to Time Trials. Future guidance will be provided for each individual meet.

Supervision: Parents and coaches are responsible for the conduct of their swimmers and families and for cleaning up the team area. Please note, as a safety precaution, no swimmer or spectator is allowed in the baby pool or beach entry area of the pool before, during or after the swim meet.

Programs: We recommend you print programs from the website in advance or use the Swimtopia/Meet Maesto app.

Concessions: Concessions will be available. Cash or Venmo is accepted.
