Following his high school career, Fisher played water polo at the collegiate level, which further deepened his understanding of aquatic sports and team dynamics. He soon found his true passion in coaching and has since devoted himself to helping swimmers grow both in and out of the pool. Over the years, Coach Fisher has worked with swimmers of all ages and skill levels—ranging from beginners learning the fundamentals to advanced athletes training for elite competition. His coaching experience spans a wide variety of teams and programs, allowing him to develop a versatile and adaptive coaching style. Currently, he serves as the assistant head coach for Nation’s Capital Swim Club at their Dulles South location. Coach Fisher emphasizes technical development, positive team culture, and individualized coaching strategies that bring out the best in every swimmer.
Coach Fisher is excited to bring his passion, energy, and experience to the Willowsford Waves this summer. His goal is to create an environment where athletes not only swim fast, but also have fun, build lasting friendships, and grow in confidence. Whether helping a swimmer get their first legal stroke or preparing them for top-level meets, Coach Fisher is committed to making this season a memorable one for all.
