    Volunteering: If your swimmer has qualified for all-stars, it is the expectation that all families volunteer for this swim meet. This is in addition to the points you have already satisfied for the season. Please take a look at the jobs and sign up for something here: All-Stars Volunteer Link

    Parking: The Stone Ridge HOA has requested that we not park along Greenstone Drive , and for all patrons to park at Byrnes Ridge park and Mercer/Gum Springs Middle School. Both are a short walk from the pool. Please respect our HOA and neighbors. They will have parking attendants on-hand to direct traffic.

    UPDATED TEAM AREAS:

    Spectators: Stone Ridge asks that spectators please time their arrival on the pool deck to align with their swimmer’s approximate swim time. Upon completion of the swim, please exit the deck in a timely manner. Please be courteous and respectful allowing families to the front to see their children swim.

    Award Presentations: The medal podium will be located to the left of the swimmer entrance in the parking lot. Award ceremonies for the freestyle and backstroke events will begin immediately following the conclusion of backstroke events. Presentation of medals for the breaststroke, butterfly and Individual Medley events will begin upon the conclusion of the meet.

    2nd Half Warmups/Break: There will be an OPEN warmup during the ODSL Scholarship presentation and 1st half awards right after backstroke.

    Concessions: Stone Ridge runs a cash and credit card full concessions service with food, drinks and snacks. The Sharks’ famous chef will be cooking! Families are welcome to bring their own provisions. Glass containers of any kind are prohibited.

    ***The Waves South team will be providing breakfast sandwiches for our swimmers that morning***

    All Star Well Wishes: Stone Ridge will have a “Good luck duck” station for families to wish their swimmers Good luck at the All Star Meet. Families can purchase a duck and use a provided sharpie to write a message of good luck for their swimmer. 

    50/50 Raffle:  Feeling lucky? Be sure to enter our 50/50 Raffle for a chance to take home a cash prize! Half of the proceeds will go to the winning ticket holder, with the remaining proceeds helping support the All-Star Meet. Cash only for ticket purchases. Look for our roving ticket seller throughout the meet, or stop by the Good Luck Duck Station to purchase your tickets. The winning ticket will be drawn just before the Individual Medley (IM) event. The winner must be present to claim the prize, so be sure to listen for the announcement and have your ticket handy. Good luck!

    The entrance to the pool is through the breezeway of the pool house off Plaza Street. Please refer to the attached parking map for the location of the pool entrance.

    🚗 Parking & Arrival Information (Please Read Carefully)

    Parking is available in the following areas:

    • Section A – Pool Parking Lot (Limited Access) – Reserved for team-assigned parking, handicap parking, and the designated swimmer drop-off lane. Accessible from Plaza Street.
      • Six reserved parking spaces are available for each team for coaches, board members, officials, or other individuals your team designates.
      • Handicap-accessible parking is also located in Section A.
    • Sections B & C – Overflow parking, accessible from Plaza Street, across the street from the pool.
    • Section D – Additional overflow parking, accessible via Fieldstone Drive from Battlefield Parkway.

    🚫 NO PARKING ON GRASS

    Please do not park on any grassy areas. Vehicles parked on the grass may be ticketed or towed at the owner's expense. We appreciate everyone's cooperation in parking only in designated parking spaces or legal street parking.

    Swimmer Drop-Off

    A designated drop-off lane will be available in Section A (left parking lot at the pool entrance).

    Please note:

    • The drop-off lane is for active loading and unloading only and is not a parking area.
    • Once your swimmers and equipment have been unloaded, please proceed immediately to an available parking location.
    • Please pull all the way forward before stopping. This allows multiple vehicles to unload at the same time and helps keep traffic flowing smoothly.

    On the parking map:

    • Solid yellow lines indicate road access to each parking area.
    • Dashed yellow lines indicate the recommended walking paths from the parking areas to the pool entrance.

    • Volunteer Shift Change – The transition between first-half and second-half volunteers will occur between the Backstroke and Breaststroke events. Second-half volunteers should report before the conclusion of the Backstroke events for a brief transition meeting.

    Please ensure all officials and volunteers arrive in time for their required briefings.

    📍 Team Areas & Pool Deck

    Each team will have an assigned staging area outside of the pool deck. Please have swimmers report directly to their designated team area upon arrival.

    A Team Area & Pool Deck Map is attached for reference. Dotted lines on the map indicate the recommended walking paths between each team's designated area and the pool deck. Please use these recommended paths whenever traveling to and from the pool.

    Team areas are located on grassy, open areas with very little shade. We encourage teams and families to bring canopy tents, chairs, blankets, and anything else needed to stay comfortable throughout the meet. These team areas are intended to serve as your home base during the meet.

    To maximize viewing opportunities and ensure everyone's safety:

    • No chairs will be permitted on the pool deck.
    • The pool deck is for viewing only. Families are welcome to step up to the edge of the pool to watch their swimmer's race, then step back afterward so others have the same opportunity.
    • Please help keep walkways clear and avoid gathering along the pool edge between races.
    • The far side of the pool (opposite the entrance) will be reserved exclusively for coaches and meet personnel.
    • We ask everyone to remain in their designated team area when not actively watching a race. This will help keep the pool deck clear and ensure everyone has an opportunity to view their swimmer.
    • Please help us keep your team area clean throughout the meet by using the trash and recycling containers provided. Before departing, we ask that each team leave its area as clean as it was upon arrival.

    We appreciate everyone's cooperation in helping keep the facility safe, organized, and enjoyable for everyone.

    🍳 Concessions

    Our concession stand will be open throughout the meet and will feature breakfast and lunch items, snacks, drinks, and other refreshments. We accept cash and Venmo (minimum $5 purchase).

    Parking

    5:15 PM: Officials and Timer briefings - at the computer operations table at the far end of the pool deck

    5:20-5:40 PM: Warm-ups (Broadlands)

    5:45 PM: Meet begins with the playing of our National Anthem. We ask that the 6 & Under freestyle swimmers be in their assigned seats with the Clerk of Course prior to the playing of the National Anthem.

    Weather Delay

    Our pool management company has a 30-minute wait-out period after a thunder/lightning strike. We are required to clear the pool deck during this time. Together, Team Reps and Head Coaches will address weather delays accordingly.

    Rules

    • Current USA Swimming Rules, including the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (“MAAPP”), will govern this meet.
    • For Time Trials, a swimmer may enter a maximum of five (5) individual events (not including 100M Free).

    Timing

    We use a Dolphin automatic timing system for home meets. Each lane will have three timers. Timers will learn timing procedures of the Dolphin watches when attending the Timer Briefing 15 minutes before the meet starts.

    Supervision

    Please note, as a safety precaution, no swimmer or spectator is allowed in the baby pool or beach entry area of the pool before, during or after the swim meet.

    Programs

    Meet Heat Sheets will be attached to this event when ready and will be printed and provided to the team representatives, clerks of course, and officials. For parents, we recommend downloading the attachment from this event for mobile use or printing. You can also purchase the "Pro" version of the SwimTopia Mobile App, to see the heat sheets on your phone as they are ready.
